BMS World Mission has been working in Albania since 1992, sending personnel to serve as teachers in the GDQ school and as church planters in both the capital of Tirana and in the southern town of Vlora. In 1999, the Baptist Union of Albania was formed and BMS continues to work closely with them.
Working in various aspects of the GDQ school are BMS workers David and Fiona Lea (Daniel), Gary Anderson, Jane Waites, Jill Morrow, Roger and Nicola Pearce (James and Beth) and Susan Lodge.
Graham Sansom is also serving in Albania and working as a team leader there and a pastor of a young church in Vlora.
